Listening for Academic Purpose

I'm currently writing the 11th journal. Am I writing blogs for too long? If so, forgive me hehehe .. So far I have felt various kinds of things when doing the quizzes in Syam.ok, especially in the Listening for academic purpose course, because I write a journal for this Listening course.

In this quiz there are 6 quizzes with 25 questions each, this time my score is quite good because we can listen the audio first before we attempt the quiz. The audio is neither too long nor too fast so I can understand a lot of the words the audio says. Then in the second quiz I answered some questions wrongly so I kept repeating them and stupidly after I repeated, my grades even lower than the first try hahaha... Then in the fourth quiz I also repeated the quiz several times and finally I got a perfect score on the last test yeyy!

But I will try to be more careful in listening to the audio so that I don't repeat the quiz over and over again 😭

I'm back with my journal! now it seems like it has arrived at the 10th journal, wow ..

Okay, in this journal I will discuss listening as usual, so in this quiz there are 10 multiple choice quizzes. in the first quiz I was not very good at listening to what the people in the audio said so I had several questions with the wrong answers, then in the second quiz I was getting good at listening to the audio, only I was not fast enough and didn't pay attention to the time limit so I answers the questions in a hurry so that my scored very badly in the second quiz. but in the third quiz onwards I have started to be able to do it correctly even though I am still very lacking in terms of time limits, I cannot listen to audio without repeating it because if it's only once I will definitely hear it wrong. I thought I was really not good at listening. then on the tenth quiz I was able to do it quickly because the audio was outside so I could listen to the audio over and over again while looking for the correct answer so that when I opened that quiz I could answer it immediately and didn't run out of time.

Journal 9

Hello! this time I was very late in writing journal 9. In fact, I was confused about what to write in journal 9, because last Thursday I did not attend the Listening for academic purpose course. it happened because at that time my internet quota turned out to have run out, then on that day I had to look after the house alone because my parents went to the funeral home because their relative died, then my brother was at work so no one could take me to buy internet quota . At that time I was really frustrated because I would definitely be absent/alpha, at 3 o'clock my parents came home so I could buy a network quota and I immediately told my lecturer in the lecture that I was not there for that reason, and I hope my lecturer will understand .

Then I thanked my friend who was kind enough to convey some of the things discussed by my lecturer that day, and I was told by my friend that I had a quiz that I had to do in Syam.ok so I immediately opened Syam.ok and worked on the quiz.

Journal 8

First of all, what do I know about Listening? Listening is listening or listening to a conversation. Listening consists of 3 important elements, namely listening, reading, and writing. Listening aims so that we can increase our ability to speak English.

This week the Listening course schedule has not changed, still on Monday. First of all, as usual, we need to fill in attendance first and then because we don't do a virtual meet so we can immediately work on the quiz given by our lecturer. There are 4 quizzes with different questions, of course, we have to listen to the audio first before doing the quiz, which in the quiz is a multiple choice. 

I think the quiz this time is a bit difficult and quite a lot, but fortunately I can do it well there is only a little wrong when I see the results of my work. i think my grades will be a little better maybe (?) i hope so haha

Then maybe a little story from me, two days ago my cat ran away and never came back again, I think this is my fault and my family does not know that at night my cat came out and hasn't come in yet, resulting in my mother locking the door so my cat can't entered and locked outside the house. i am very sad about it, i have been trying to find but nothing, i hope my cat can come back again even though it may have been a day and a night since my cat disappeared. Or maybe when someone nice out there finds my cat and returns it to me, I hope so.
